Bottle Pendant Hanger by Tonja Lenderman

Supplies

tiny bottle with a lip around the neck

chain nose pliers

needle nose pliers

2 pieces of wire 6 inches long

2 pieces of wire 4 inches long

Step 1

Start out by cutting 2 pieces of wire about six inches long

and twist them together. This will take both pair of pliers to do.

Step 2

Now take 2 pieces of wire 4 inches long and place them

around the neck of the bottle, use a pair of needle nose or jewelry

pliers to twist each wire tightly closed. 3 or 4 twists will be

enough to be a good base for the pivot point for the hanger.

Step 3

Find the halfway point on the first two wires you twisted and

hold it with your pliers. Now make a loop as in the picture above.

Step 4

Now go to the ends and make loops there.

Step 5

Thread both ends of one of the neck wires through one

of the end loops on the 6" twisted wire.

Step 6

Coil the wires you just threaded through the end loop.

Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 to finish the other side and

you are finished.

Sunni, thank you for the suggestions you made.

They were a big help. :)

Just a note - measurements are not crucial. They will depend

on the size of the bottle, how long you want the hanger to be

and how large you like the coils. In this example I used copper

wire , but obviously you can use whatever wire you have on hand.

Have fun !!!!!
